Youth Aviation Programs
AeroCamp
Aviation can feel like a big leap for a high school student. AeroCamp gives your teen a structured, hands-on way to explore aircraft, simulators, airport operations, and flight training before choosing a longer path.
A Clear First Step Into Aviation
The AeroCamp High School Program at Sun City Aviation Academy gives students ages 14-17 a focused way to explore aviation and aerospace at North Perry Airport.
Your teen gets more than a fun day around airplanes. Students learn aviation basics, use training tools, meet the airport environment, and end the program with a clearer sense of whether flying should become a bigger goal.
If you are comparing youth aviation programs near you, start with the questions parents care about most: age fit, schedule, cost, safety-minded structure, and the next step after camp. The Youth Aviation Programs FAQ answers those before you enroll.

What to Expect
Aviation Program for High School Students (Ages 14-17)
A short, practical aviation camp for teens who want to know if the cockpit, airport, and training environment feel right.
The AeroCamp High School Program helps students explore the fundamentals of flight over three focused days. Students learn about aerodynamics, radio communications, weather patterns, and aircraft preflight habits in a setting built for first-time aviation learners.
Led by experienced instructors, students take part in hands-on activities such as preflight inspections, interactive games, and simulator sessions.
They may also tour the Air Traffic Control Tower and/or Fire Station. Students get time in the flight simulator and finish the course with an actual airplane flight, giving them a real reference point before choosing Experience Aviation, a discovery flight, or future private pilot training.
